# Notes on the ordinary

A Textend sample manuscript. Make it your own and explore different kinds of Markdown content.

## Collect the ordinary

Some things only appear when you slow down.

> Writing is a way of paying attention.

- The first light of the morning
- A little shop around the corner

## A week of looking closer

| When | Where | What to notice |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Monday | The corner | Steam from the breakfast stall |
| Wednesday | The park | The way the shadows move |
| Friday | The bookshop | Notes left between pages |

## Keep a little moment

```javascript
const moments = ["light", "shadows", "breeze"];
function keepAMoment(day) {
  return {
    day,
    note: moments[day % moments.length],
  };
}
keepAMoment(1);
```
